Exel holding job fair to hire workers for new Bow liquor warehouse

Want to work at the new liquor warehouse in Bow?

Ohio-based Exel Inc., which will own and operate the facility on Route 3A in Bow, is holding a job fair today.

It’s at 10 West St. in Concord, the New Hampshire Employment Security office, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

About 30 jobs are to be filled, said company spokeswoman Lynn Anderson. Available positions include material handlers, forklift operators, inventory control clerks and Class A commercial drivers, the company said.

“We are looking forward to hiring the team members who will help us to provide world-class service to the New Hampshire Liquor Commission,” said Robert MacLellan, Exel’s director of operations, in a news release. “As an employer, Exel is pleased to offer a great employment package featuring competitive pay and benefits to the team that will be part of a successful start of operations on Nov. 1st.”

Construction on the warehouse is wrapping up, and it’s scheduled to begin shipping liquor to state-run retail stores Nov. 1.
