Concord police seek vehicle in hit-and-run incident
The Concord police are looking for help identifying a driver who backed into another vehicle in the South Main Street McDonald’s parking lot last month, then drove off.
The police said that about 7:35 p.m. on Sept. 17, a black station wagon – possibly a Volvo – backed into a gray Honda Accord in the McDonald’s lot. The Honda’s grill, front bumper and hood were damaged.
“The suspect neither made contact with nor left information for the owner of the Honda,” the police said in a statement, adding that he was white, had dark hair, glasses, was in his late 20s or 30s, and was wearing a black shirt and pants.
Yesterday, the police released a surveillance photo and asked for anyone with information to contact them at 226-3100 or online at concordregionalcrimeline.com.
