A 19-year-old Concord man has been arrested and charged with felony second-degree assault for allegedly stabbing a juvenile with a knife Friday evening, the police said. The suspect, Steven Charron, also faces one misdemeanor count of simple assault.

Officers responded about 6:45 p.m. to the incident, which took place in Penacook. The police said the victim, whom they have not identified, was taken to Concord Hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Charron is scheduled for an arraignment Dec. 18.
