Hiker injures leg, rescued from N.H. trail

A team of rescuers came to the aid of a hiker from Connecticut who injured her leg on a trail in Lincoln and escorted her to safety.

Conservation officers from the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department and volunteers from the Pemi Valley Search and Rescue Team were called to the Falling Waters Trail in Lincoln Friday.

Yingnan Zhao of Hartford, Conn., was hiking with a companion when she slipped on wet rocks and sustained injuries that hampered her ability to walk.

Officials said there was snow and ice on the trail.
