Police: Man rescued from Lake Winona in Center Harbor
A 66-year-old man was rescued yesterday from Lake Winona in Center Harbor after an onlooker noticed him struggling in the water and paddled out in a canoe to help, the police said.
The rescuer performed CPR until emergency personnel arrived and transported the man to Lakes Region General Hospital. He was then flown to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Cetner in Lebanon and remained in critical condition as of early last night.
A police dispatcher had no other information about the man, the rescuer or the incident.
