Concord police seek man who stole beer from Hannaford

The Concord police are looking for a man they say stole a 12-pack of beer from the Fort Eddy Road Hannaford on June 3.

The police said the man was seen walking out of the store about 7 p.m. and was approached by an employee in the parking lot. The man dropped the beer and ran north on Fort Eddy Road, the police said. The man was described as being white with short balding hair, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and wearing khaki shorts and a pinstriped shirt.

The police have posted surveillance photos from the store at concordregionalcrimeline.com.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call the Concord Regional Crimeline at 226-3100.
