Pro-gun protester arrested at Concord rally suffers chimney fire

According to the Union Leader, Daniel Musso, the protester arrested and subdued with a stun gun by the Concord police at a gun control rally last week, became the victim of a chimney fire Saturday.

The fire caused $150,000 in damage to Musso’s Brentwood home, the Union Leader reported Sunday.

Brentwood investigators and the state fire marshal’s office determined the cause was accidental, according to the paper. Brentwood Deputy fire Chief Gary Raymond said a wood and oil burner used to heat water may have been the source of the problem, heating the chimney which in turn ignited dry framing.
