Warner man arrested for alleged assault on girlfriend
The state police arrested a 26-year-old Warner man early Monday morning on charges he punched his girlfriend in the face and tried to choke her.
Nickolas Micucci is charged with three counts of simple assault, one count of felony-level criminal threatening and one count of second-degree assault, which is also a felony.
The state police responded to Pleasant Pond Road about 2:17 a.m. Monday after receiving a report from a woman who said Micucci had assaulted her, according to state police. The woman told the police Micucci punched her several times in the face, pulled her hair, slammed her head into the wall, threatened her with a knife, stabbed the knife into the wall beside her head and choked her, according to a state police press release.
Micucci had left the residence before the police arrived, but he was later found in Contoocook, the police said. He is being held on $500 cash for each felony charge and $1,000 personal recognize bail for the three simple assault charges.
