Lightning strike delays school opening in Lempster
Firefighters said a lightning strike canceled the first day of school for some students in Lempster.
They said the lightning strike happened about 10 p.m. Wednesday and damaged the electrical system at the Goshen-Lempster Cooperative School.
WMUR reported the fire department told school administrators it was not safe for students return to the building until crews could assess damage.
Classes were canceled yesterday.
