Concord police searching for possible armed threatener
The Concord police are soliciting public information about a possible criminal threatening with a firearm yesterday morning.
The alleged incident occurred about 7 a.m. at the intersection of Interstate 393 and North Main Street, the police said. A driver told authorities he had gotten into a verbal argument with another driver while waiting to turn right onto the interstate, and that the other driver – described as white, thin with short brown hair, and in his late 20s – then pulled a handgun from his glove compartment and displayed it to him.
The suspect’s car was described as an 8- to 13-year-old tan or yellow Ford Focus station wagon. A white female, also in her late 20s, was reportedly also in the vehicle.
