The Bridgeport Sound Tigers scored three unanswered goals in the third period and beat the Monarchs, 5-2, last night in Manchester.
Linden Vey’s third goal of the season, with assists from Tyler Toffoli and Nick Deslauriers, tied the game at 2-2 just 39 seconds into the third. But Bridgeport took the lead for good less than four minutes later.
Andrew Bodnarchuk scored Manchester’s first goal, assisted by Andrei Loktionov and Brandon Kozun.
Goalie Martin Jones stopped 39 of 44 shots.
