GABRIEL PATENOTTE earned high honors for the first quarter at Academy for Science and Design in Nashua.

ABIGAIL RYAN, daughter of Joan and Stephen Ryan, was selected as a resident assistant for the Office of Student Life at Saint Michael’s College in Burlington, Vt. She is a junior sociology major.

HOOKSETT

CHRISTOPHER STORM, Air National Guard 1st Class and son of Steven Storm, graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

BENJAMIN DEMARK was inducted into the Lakes Region Community College’s Alpha Chi Epsilon Chapter honor society for two-year colleges.

SARAH WITHAM, daughter of Mary Wason and Earle Wason, was named to the dean’s list for the summer semester at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Services. She is pursuing a doctor of pharmacy degree.

PENACOOK

BRIDGET BUTTERWORTH, daughter of Bob and Joyce Butterworth, was inducted into the national Jesuit Honor Society Alpha Sigma Nu in recognition of her academic achievement, loyalty to ideals and service to others. She is a senior in the honors program at Fairfield University with a double-major in international studies and politics and a minor in education. She recently studied abroad in Tanzania and works at Save the Children.

MICHAEL FORD, Navy Airman assigned to the Enterprise Carrier Strike Group, recently arrived in Norfolk, Va., following a seven-and-a-half-month deployment supporting operations in the Mediterranean and the Arabian Seas. He joined the Navy in 2010.

DERRICK LAMBERT was inducted into the Lakes Region Community College’s Alpha Chi Epsilon Chapter honor society for two-year colleges.

SOPHIE LAROCHELLE, chair, and six members of the Winnisquam FFA Chapter tested their knowledge of
parliamentary law at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis in October. The Parliamentary Procedure Team won a bronze emblem for New Hampshire.
