UNH men’s basketball drops conference opener to Vermont
Ferg Myrick’s 19 points led all scorers, but the University of New Hampshire men’s basketball team dropped its conference opener to Vermont, 64-51.
It was the fourth straight loss for the Wildcats, dropping them to 4-9 on the year.
Chandler Rhoads scored 14 points for UNH and added three assists, while Chris Pelcher scored eight points and grabbed six rebounds.
Candon Russin and Ethan O’Day scored 15 and 11 points for the Catamounts, respectively, while Brian Voelkel collected 13 rebounds.
