Concord Chorale delivers Singing Valentines

  • Marge Schmale, middle, beams and grabs her daughter Debbie Watrous's hand after Debbie surprised her mother with a Valentine's Day serenade by the Concord Chorale at Granite Ledges of Concord on Friday, February 14, 2014.  The group of singers spent all day delivering songs and roses from loved ones to people throughout the area for their annual Singing Valentine fundraiser.  Marge just moved to Concord from Rochester, NY last weekend and Debbie thought the surprise would be a good way to welcome her to Concord. Anyone who overheard couldn’t help but smile when the Concord Chorale delivered its Singing Valentines across town yesterday. The group of singers spent the day delivering a capella love songs, red roses and concert tickets to loved ones from Laconia to Manchester for their annual fundraiser.
