THE REV. ERIC JACKSON HAS BEEN CALLED TO SERVE as pastor and teacher at Smith Memorial Congregational Church in Hillsboro. He will begin his duties tomorrow. Pastor Jackson comes to the church from New York City. Prior to coming to the church, he has provided congregations with pastoral leadership for six years. His ministry honors the voice of tradition and the zest of modernity and has taken him beyond the local parish to 40 states, three continents, the White House and a variety of settings to serve the wider world.
