Police seize 30 marijuana plants from Salisbury man’s property

A Salisbury man was arrested yesterday after the state police said they found 30 marijuana plants growing on his property.

Albert Hill, 51, was charged with one count of manufacturing the controlled drug and released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Franklin’s district court Oct. 21.

State police officials said in a statement that they executed a search warrant on Hill’s land, at 146 Warner Road, after a five-month investigation. In addition to the plants, they also seized three guns and ammunition, they said.

Just curious, why was the mention of handguns and ammunition made. Was he already a convicted felon?
