Concord police log for June 26
∎ Erik Wentworth, 36, of Fisherville Road was arrested May 29 on a warrant and charged with simple assault. The warrant was issued in December 2012, the police said. He was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in court July 1.
∎ Chuck Sargent 43, of Allenstown was arrested May 18 and charged with simple assault after the police said he got into an altercation with another man during the Kiwanis Fair at Everett Arena. The police said an officer witnessed Sargent “head butt” the man. He was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and was scheduled to appear in court June 24.
∎ Casey Welcome, 19, of Boscawen was arrested May 20 and charged with willful concealment after the police said she was observed stealing several items from the North Main Street Cumberland Farms. The police said an officer in the store saw that Welcome seemed to be holding items in her pants and sweatshirt pocket. The police said Welcome later removed two Kool-Aid drinks, two cans of Red Bull, two Laffy Taffys and a bag of skittles from her pockets. She was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and was
scheduled to appear in court June 24.
∎ Samantha Lyons, 19, of Josiah Bartlett Road was arrested June 1 and charged with driving while intoxicated, unlawful possession of alcohol, transportation of alcoholic beverages by a minor, transportation of alcohol in an open container, possession of controlled drugs and possession of drugs. The police said Lyons was pulled over by an officer who observed her driving in a vehicle with only one operational headlight. The officer observed the smell of alcohol coming from the car and noted Lyons’s eyes were glassy. The police said Lyons denied drinking alcohol that night but an open can of Bud Light was in her cup holder. When searching Lyons and the car the officer found a glass smoking pipe that smelled like marijuana, the police said. She was released on $3,000 personal recognizance bail and was scheduled to appear in court June 17.
∎ Brianna Thibault, 17, of Loudon was arrested June 2 and charged with driving while intoxicated, transportation of alcoholic beverages by a minor, possession of controlled drugs, possession of drugs, possession and use of tobacco by a minor and unlawful possession of alcohol. The police said Thibault was found sleeping in her vehicle in the parking lot of the Fisherville Road McDonalds by an officer who noted her car had been there for several hours. The officer, who said Thibeault’s eyes were bloodshot and the car smelled of alcohol, found a can of beer on the floor, the police said. The officer later found cigarettes and a plastic bag containing what she believed to be marijuana. Thibeault was released on $4,000 personal recognizance bail and was scheduled to appear in court June 17.
∎ Anthony McMann, 19, of Washington Street was arrested June 4 and charged with skateboarding in a prohibited area after an officer saw him doing tricks on a skateboard on the sidewalk on North Main Street, the police said. The officer said McMann told him he was just a kid and did not read city ordinance signs. When the officer told him he was under arrest, McMann then said he was an adult and the officer was treating him like a kid, the police said. He was issued a summons to appear in court July 15.
