There is a stacked lineup of awesome activities tonight in Concord – let’s get right into it, shall we? First off, Eagle Square goes country tonight as the latest installment of Concord’s summer music series hits town. The Shana Stack Band brings some twang to the table for this free concert, live at 7 p.m. Check out their countrified sounds at shanastack.com and then head on down to Eagle Square for the show. If it rains (which seems very likely this week), the concert will be at the Heights Community Center (14 Canterbury Road). For more information, call 225-8690.

Elsewhere, local poet Martha Carlson-Bradley debuts her new collection of poems Sea Called Fruitfulness at Gibson’s Bookstore (27 S. Main St.) tonight at 7. We’re just over the moon about this! It’s a bit of a concept book – Carlson-Bradley wrote the poems as a response to a 1681 lunar map published by two Jesuit astronomers; the lyric poems that resulted are musings on the motivations and lives of that moon duo. For more information, visit mcarlson-bradley.com or gibsonsbookstore.com, or call 224-0562.
