N.H. News Roundup: Granite State has nicest drivers, N.H. casino still priority

You may have seen a Volvo ad recently (above) telling the tale of Irv Gordon, the man who is so close to driving 3 million miles (3,000,000 – just for emphasis) in the same vehicle, a 1966 Volvo P1800.

So why is this news here in the Granite State? Well, according to Gordon, New Hampshire has the nicest drivers!

The last state I lived in was Missouri (the second worst-driving state in the country – the Granite State ranks fifth best, by the way), so improvement was practically guaranteed when I moved here.

But I do have to say, I rarely have complaints (althought, it isn’t zero) while I’m on the road here.

Check out some of Gordon’s other favorites in the nation. Here’s a few: BBQ – Tennessee; Small town – Green River, Wyo.; Clam Chowder – Cape Cod).

Gordon is expected to hit his mark in mid-September.

So celebrate being nice folks on the road, and let’s all keep it that way!
