New England governors, eastern Canadian premiers to meet in N.H. in 2014

Gov. Maggie Hassan’s counterparts from the New England states and eastern provinces of Canada will be visiting New Hampshire next year.

Hassan has been in La Malbaie, Quebec, yesterday and today for the New England Governors and Eastern Canadian Premiers’ 37th Annual Conference. She announced today that the 2014 conference will be held in the Granite State.

“I look forward to hosting the conference next year in New Hampshire, where we will be able to highlight what makes our state a great place to live, visit and do business,” Hassan said in a statement.

Last year’s conference was held in Burlington, Vermont. Halifax, Nova Scotia, hosted the event in 2011, and in 2010 it was held in Lenox, Mass.
