Police: Driver fired gun at jogger in Salem
The police said a driver is accused of shooting a gun at a jogger in Salem in what the police are calling a case of road rage.
Authorities said the driver of the car approached an intersection at a high rate of speed, stopped abruptly and then pulled forward almost hitting the jogger Thursday night. The driver and the jogger got into an argument and the jogger is accused of spitting on the driver’s car, which he denies.
The police said the driver then pulled out a gun and fired it.
The jogger ran home and called the police.
WMUR reported that the police were able to track down the driver who turned the gun over to them.
The police said both men could face charges.
