Intown Concord offers peek at downtown’s upstairs

Luxury apartments. Construction in progress. Offices with panoramic views of Concord. They’ll all be part of Intown Concord’s Upstairs, Downtown tour tomorrow evening.

The fifth annual walking tour of downtown’s upper stories will include tours of Steve Duprey’s latest building on South Main Street and construction of market-rate apartments at the Endicott Hotel. “We get the benefit of the sneak preview of those two buildings, if you will, before they’re completely finished,” said Matt Walsh, the city’s assistant for special projects, an Intown Concord board member, and tour organizer.

The evening will conclude with a reception on the top floor of the Capital Commons building, which Walsh said has “arguably one of the best views” in the city. The tour will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Red River Theatres. (The Monitor is one of the event’s corporate sponsors.) $20 tickets are available at Merrimack County Savings Bank’s downtown location or at the start of the tour.
