Capitol Hill to get the Granite State experience at reception
Capitol Hill will get a taste of Granite State living tomorrow.
The “Experience New Hampshire” reception, now in its fourth year, will be held Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Kennedy Caucus Room of the Russell Senate Office Building in Washington, D.C.
It’s hosted by the New Hampshire State Society and the state’s congressional delegation: U.S. Sens. Jeanne Shaheen and Kelly Ayotte and U.S. Reps. Carol Shea-Porter and Annie Kuster.
The event, according to a news release from Shaheen’s office, “serves as an opportunity for dining, tourism, hospitality and business groups important to New Hampshire’s economy to showcase the best of what the Granite State has to offer. Guests and participants will be treated to a wide variety of gourmet dishes and drinks from the state’s restaurants and hotels.”
