MEREDITH VILLAGE SAVINGS BANK announced the results of this year’s Mitten Tree Program with contributions of $3,240 to local nonprofit organizations. Thanks to the generous support of the community, 1,620 winter weather accessories were also collected and distributed to local families in need. For each item donated, the bank provided a $2 contribution to local charitable organizations within the communities the bank serves. Local senior service organizations shared a total of $1,228, local humane societies split $738 and local food pantries benefited with equal distribution of $1,274.

SUSTAINABLE REFINING of Franklin announces the launch of its GS-2000 vegetable oil bio-based rust protectant undercoating for both private and commercial vehicles. GS-2000 seals out moisture and other corrosive elements, protecting vehicles from rust damage.
