THE CLEANING GUY of Goffstown, a company specializing in commercial cleaning, has been acquired by Stephen Duprey of FOXFIRE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT of Concord. The founder of The Cleaning Guy, Kevin Larmand, has been retained as a consultant with Foxfire Property Management.

HEARING ENHANCEMENT CENTERS sent Al and Carla Langley to attend the Hearing Innovation Expo in Las Vegas. The expo hosted more than 3,400 hearing care professionals from around the world and featured courses and speakers, including keynote speeches from former presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.

G ET FIT NH hosted a “Training for a Cause” event for Friends of Forgotten Children on Jan. 18. More than 70 people gave a minimum of $10 to come in and work out with 100 percent of the proceeds going to Friends of Forgotten Children. More than $1,200 was raised.

NEW HAMPSHIRE’S LAKES REGION CHAMBER OF COMMERCE and MCLEAN COMMUNICATIONS have collaborated on the 2014 edition of Lakes Region Living, a full-color, glossy magazine dedicated to exploring the advantages of living and working in the Lakes Region.

MEMBERS FIRST CREDIT UNION and SERVICE CREDIT UNION have reached an agreement to sell the Members First Franklin branch office, along with certain deposits and loans, to Service Credit Union.

LEADERSHIP SEACOAST, a nonprofit organization that develops informed and active community leaders, received a commitment of $1,000 from MCLANE, GRAF, RAULERSON & MIDDLETON PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION. The leadership level donation will be used to support Leadership Seacoast’s 2014 program year.

SERVICE CREDIT UNION recently opened its 42nd branch worldwide, 25th in New Hampshire and 12th in-store branch, expanding its presence in the state with its first branch in Belknap County. The new full-service banking institution with a deposit-taking ATM is at 33 Sherwood Drive inside Walmart in Tilton.

THE CITIZENS BANK FOUNDATION is donating $20,000 to the NEW HAMPSHIRE SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER to support Pathway to Work, a program designed to help unemployed workers start businesses.

JAYBEE JOE’S WEEKEND SHOP opened at the end of November 2013 at 1557 First NH Turnpike in Northwood. The shop features unique new items at discounted prices and handmade items from local crafters. The winter hours of the shop are Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

CONCORD PILATES at 2½ Beacon St. in Concord now offers private Reformer classes. The Reformer, an exercise machine designed to undo the damage caused by a sedentary lifestyle, provides resistance training with a pulley spring system to work the arm, leg and abdominal muscles.
