RICHARD CLOUGH of Concord was awarded New Hampshire SCORE’s first mentoring excellence award. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration that provides free face-to-face and email mentoring to small business start-ups and existing companies. Clough is immediate past chairman of the Merrimack Valley chapter in Manchester and has been a volunteer for more than five years.

DR. PAUL CLARK, Concord Hospital’s new chief medical information officer, is among the first group of more than 400 pioneering physicians in the country to be certified in clinical informatics, a medical specialty in which medical information and communications are used to improve patient care.

HEATHER KRANS of The Stein Law Firm in Concord will receive the Philip Hollman Gender Equality Award presented yearly by the New Hampshire Bar Association. Krans is a member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, past president of the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association and has chaired the family law section of the New Hampshire Bar Association.

JOSEPH CAMPBELL of Hillsboro, project manager at North Branch Construction in Concord, was appointed to the Associated Builders and Contractors VT/NH Chapter Board of Directors. Associated Builders and Contractors is a national trade association representing contractors, suppliers and associates in 80 chapters across the United States.

JEFFREY ZELLERS, an attorney with Annis & Zellers, was re-elected chairman of the Board of Trustees of Capital Region Health Care Corp. The corporation is the parent company of Concord Hospital, Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association and Riverbend Community Mental Health.

ART FRANSON of Laconia, JACK LANDOW of Gilford and DEBBIE BOLDUC of the Lakes Region were named to the Belknap Independent Business Alliance Board of Directors. Franson has a background in financial management with Fortune 500 companies and a second career doing taxes, accounting, financial planning, operations planning and analysis for individuals and small independent businesses in Massachusetts. Landow has been an instructor for Belknap College and worked for the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services in various administrative positions during his 35-year career before retiring in 2004. Bolduc is the owner and director of BizBuzz Marketing Partners, a boutique marketing firm focusing on the needs of small businesses.
