CONCORD COMMUNITY TV introduces a project called “Creating a PSA for Your Nonprofit: Plan It: Produce It!” Nonprofits will have the opportunity to attend a planning workshop June 3 and then create a PSA using ConcordTV’s facility and technical staff expertise starting June 10. BODY COVERS CUSTOM SCREEN PRINTING & EMBROIDERY in Laconia celebrates 25 years of continuous operations. Body Covers, started by Betsy Spencer and Peter Caldwell, was a business that originated in a Manchester basement in 1989 before moving to the Lakes Region in 1993. Aaron and Sarah Gray of Laconia, who met as Lakes Region Community College graphic design students and worked as interns with Body Covers, married and purchased the business in 2003.
MEREDITH VILLAGE SAVINGS BANK employees chose Voices Against Violence as one of 10 local nonprofit agencies to receive a $3,795 donation. Voices Against Violence relies heavily on AmeriCorps members and community volunteers to provide crisis services to those in need. The funds will help offset the cost of retaining a full-time AmeriCorps member.
