SANEL AUTO PARTS was honored by Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems as an Exemplary Distributor and a platinum ranking. The ranking reflects the top 10 percent of distributors in the company’s independent aftermarket distributor network.

THE BANK OF NEW HAMPSHIRE was chosen by the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce as the 2014 Business of the Year. The bank received this award at the chamber’s annual Pinnacle Awards celebration May 21. The awards recognize businesses for their achievements to the community. The bank has a strong legacy of community service and civic leadership.

SUN PRIVATE EQUITIES has secured a major ownership position in SUSTAINABLE REFINING, a manufacturer of renewable, vegetable-based industrial grade lubricants and oils based in Franklin. Its products provide a high-performance alternative to petroleum-based mechanical oils and lubricants.

COLBY-SAWYER COLLEGE and the UNIVERSITY OF NEW HAVEN in West Haven, Conn., signed an agreement that guarantees qualified Colby-Sawyer sport management majors acceptance to University of New Haven to continue their studies at the graduate level. University of New Haven’s sports management program, available in residence and online, is ranked as the fourth-best business-based program in the nation.

COLBY-SAWYER COLLEGE received a $3 million gift from Bill and Sonja Davidow ’56 of Woodside, Calif. The gift will support the college’s highest academic priority of building a new fine and performing arts center and will fund the Sonja C. Davidow ’56 Endowed Chair in the Fine and Performing Arts.

THE GREATER MEREDITH PROGRAM promotions committee is planning a “Drop Anchor in Meredith” event July 26. Businesses are invited to participate and promote an event, sale or discount coupon in the Drop Anchor Map and Events Guide. A $15 contribution will help defray printing costs.
