ALLSTATE INSURANCE CO. recently designated three Concord agencies as Allstate Premier Agencies for 2014. The agency owners and agencies are Caroline Pellock of Caroline M. Pellock Agency, Gregg Jodoin of Gregg J. Jodoin Agency and George Colt of George J. Colt Agency. They were chosen for their outstanding business performance and commitment to putting customers at the center of their agency’s work.

The town of Laconia was named “2014 City on the Rise” by New Hampshire Magazine in its “Best of NH 2014 Shops and Services.”

Charter Trust Co., a wealth management firm, opened a new office in Nashua at 188 Main St. The company now has seven offices in the state: Concord, Hanover, Meredith, New London, Peterborough, Rochester and Nashua.

Naughton Recycling Center of Bradford was recognized with the “2014 Business of the Year” award by the Northeast Resource Recovery Association in Epsom. George and Amy Naughton own the company and were chosen for their exceptional customer service, timeliness in providing scale weights, professionalism, and friendly and helpful attitude.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is now inviting suggestions for the 2017 Census of Agriculture, which is conducted once every five years. Content suggestions for the 2017 census will be accepted until Aug. 4. Comments can be submitted online at agcensus.usda.gov/Contact_us/ Census_program_Input_Form. Written suggestions may be mailed to: Census Content Team, Room 6451, 1400 Independence Ave., SW, Washington, D.C. 20250.
