N.H. News Roundup: Red Mamba barely misses, good-bye GED?

Happy President’s Day everyone!

Wondering who’s behind that mustache in the video above? It’s Concord’s own (and personal Ginger hero) Matt Bonner. Bonner made headlines during the past couple weeks when a social media campaign (#LetBonnerShoot) landed the 32-year-old sharp-shooting veteran a spot in the NBA’s annual 3-Point Shootout. Red River Theatres hosted a free viewing party for the event, complete with dozens of pizzas, Red Mamba T-shirts and a shout out from TNT’s crew in Houston.

Bonner won the first round of the event, besting Golden State Warrior Stephen Curry and the New Orleans Hornet Ryan Anderson with 19 points. Bonner fell in the championship round when reigning Rookie of the Year Kyrie Irving caught fire at the beginning of his round, ultimately beating Bonner 23-20.

So I’ll be the first (well in the first wave anyway) to say it, #LetBonnerShootAgain.
