THE HENNIKER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE has a new promotional campaign: “Think Local, Buy Local – Support Henniker.” Using bumper stickers, window decals, in-store promotions and advertising, chamber members will promote the message and benefits of keeping more buying dollars within the local community.
The Childhood Cancer Lifeline 2013 event at PATS PEAK in Henniker raised nearly $30,000 for New Hampshire families who have a child battling cancer. The auction and dinner was a large portion of the money raised, along with the generosity of the Pats Peak skiers/riders who donated to the campaign.
ONSITE DRUG TESTING OF NEW ENGLAND is celebrating its 10th year in business. Kimberly Reid is the president and owner of the company.
UPTON & HATFIELD LAW FIRM of Concord completed the NEW HAMPSHIRE BAR ASSOCIATION Gender Equality Committee’s four-part Gender Equality Initiative Training, designed to expand opportunities for women in the legal profession.

NEW ENGLAND COLLEGE in Henniker was named to President Obama’s 2013 Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll.
THE NEW HAMPSHIRE CHARITABLE FOUNDATION was presented with the Robert J. McKenna Award for Program Achievement by the New England Board of Higher Education on March 8 in Boston.
The award honored the
foundation for creating the single largest program for publicly available student scholarships in New Hampshire.
