Community Bridges, Merrimack County businesses team up for donation program
Community Bridges is set to collect donations from local businesses, as long as their customers help out.
The Concord-based nonprofit, which works with people who have disabilities, has started a “Community Business Give-Back” program. Under the program, participating businesses will donate up to $100 to the Community Bridges Assistance Fund every time a customer mentions the program and make a purchase.
Thirteen businesses based in Merrimack County are participating initially, the group said in a news release. A full list is available on the group’s website, communitybridgesnh.org.
“We are so pleased to have the support of local businesses in our Community Business Give-Back program, because it gives people an easy way to contribute to our efforts, through the purchase of everyday products and services,” said John Lindgren, Community Bridges’s director of resource development, in a statement.
