R.P. Johnson and Son plans community service day in June

The New Hampshire-based building supply company R.P. Johnson & Son Inc. plans to hold its third annual “Build It Forward” community service event June 15.

The service day will take place in Andover and Sunapee, where the company’s hardware stores and lumberyards are located. Projects will include repair work and other related projects, such as yard cleanups, house weatherizations and small renovations.

The company has been servicing New Hampshire building needs for 112 years.

Community members can sign up to participate or to propose a project during the company’s May 18 Customer Appreciation Event, or online at rpjohnson.com/webuilditforward. They can also call 735-2116 for more information.
