Leadership Greater Concord Class of 2014 selected
The Leadership Greater Concord Steering Committee, led by incoming chairwoman Kim Pecora of Nathan Wechsler & Co., announces the selection of the Leadership Greater Concord Class of 2014. Leadership Greater Concord is a program sponsored by the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce and designed to foster civic awareness in the community.
The class of 2014 includes Robert Allen, Lincoln Financial Group; Brennan Barnard, The Derryfield School; Mark Beaudoin, Cleveland, Waters and Bass; Kevin Boyarsky, NH Print and Mail Service; Sean Brown, City of Concord, fire department; Carol Cannon, Lincoln Financial Group; Bethany Cottrell, Merrimack County Advocacy Center; Katherine DeForest, Sulloway & Hollis; Clara Dietel, Shaheen & Gordon; Amy Dixon, LCHIP; Annemarie Dunn, Riverbend Community Mental Health Center; Katie Graff, City of Concord; Amelia Larsen, Ruedig Realty; Charles Lloyd, NHTI; Paul Lucas, Merrimack County Department of Corrections; Gloria McPherson, City of Concord, planning department; Shannon Merchant, Lincoln Financial Group; Elyssa Paris, Zoe & Co., Professional Bra Fitters; Liza Poinier, Intown Concord; Jamie Rogers, The Crisp Law Firms; Lisa Schermerhorn; Doris Soucy, Lincoln Financial Group; Cassandra Sweatt, Primerica; and Amanda Wagner, West Congregational Church.
The program begins with a retreat in September and will continue with a series of nine day-long sessions focusing on particular aspects of civic life in Concord, including history and culture, economic development, education, communications and the media, government and politics, criminal justice, health and human services, and spirituality.
