NAMI-NH names two new board members
The National Alliance on Mental Illness New Hampshire has named two new members to its board of directors: John Bunker of Stratham and Leanna Kirk of Northwood.
Bunker is the associate dean at the College of Health & Human Services at the University of New Hampshire. During his previous tenure as executive director at New Futures, he worked collaboratively with NAMI NH to address co-occurring disorders. He has also served on the New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits Board and as a consultant on two national advisory committees.
Kirk works as a residential rehabilitation specialist at Riverbend Community Mental Health. She has been actively involved with NAMI NH over several years in a number of ways – as an active member of NAMI NH’s Citizen Advisory Committee, working on the Evidenced-Based Supported Employment Team, serving on the NAMI NH annual awards committee, and as a Family-to-Family instructor.
The NAMI NH Board of Directors also elected new officers: Michele Grennon, president; Richard Chevrevils, first vice president; David Canedy, second vice president; Chet Batchelder, treasurer; and Linda Paquette, secretary.
