DOUGLAS PATCH, a senior attorney and shareholder with the Concord law firm of Orr & Reno, has joined the board of directors of The Jordan Institute. The Jordan Institute in Concord is a nonprofit organization that promotes energy-efficiency policy and projects in commercial buildings.
AUDREY KNIGHT, the child health nurse consultant for the New Hampshire Division of Public Health’s Maternal and Child Health Section, was named 2013 Public Citizen of the Year by the New Hampshire Pediatric Society. She has worked in the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services since 1986.
K. MARK PRIMEAU, president of the Bank of New Hampshire, has been elected chairman of the New Hampshire Bankers Association for the coming year. Primeau moved into the position after a year as vice-chairman.
Attorneys JOE MCDONALD and AMY KANYUK, partners at the Concord law firm of McDonald & Kanyuk, have been selected by their peers as among the best attorneys in New Hampshire and listed in Woodward-White’s Best Lawyers in America for 2014. McDonald was selected in the field of trusts and estates and Kanyuk was selected for both tax law and trusts and estates. In addition, Kanyuk was named as Concord’s Lawyer of the
Year for 2014 in the area of tax law.
ERIC SCHMIDT of Auto Care Plus in Manchester was presented the second quarterly Auto Tech Award sponsored by Sanel Auto Parts and More Than Wheels Inc. He was presented with an award certificate and a $500 gift certificate to Sanel Auto Parts.
