NORTH BRANCH CONSTRUCTION of Concord has begun construction of the Interventional Spine Medicine office in Plaistow. This project involves the renovation of a 3,300-square-foot home built in 1920. The build is expected to be completed in June.

AMERICAN RED CROSS NEW HAMPSHIRE announces UNITIL CORP., a provider of natural gas and electricity to customers in New England, as the title sponsor of the 2014 Heroes Breakfast hosted by the American Red Cross New Hampshire. The breakfast honors outstanding individuals or groups who have made a difference in the lives of others through their generosity, caring deeds and selfless acts. FREUDENBERG-NOK donated $5,000 to the New Hampshire Electric Cooperative and Northway Bank’s Food Bank Challenge. The goal is to raise at least $150,000 for the New Hampshire Food Bank. So far, nearly $37,000 has been raised, which, when matched, totals nearly $74,000 to date. Each donation is being matched dollar for dollar up to $80,000 by the New Hampshire Electric Cooperative and Northway Bank.

THE BON-TON STORES’s fall Goodwill sale, a partnership with GOODWILL INDUSTRIES INTERNATIONAL and local Goodwill stores, collected more than 3 million pounds of clothing and textile donations to benefit Goodwill’s job training programs and community-based services. The donations have an estimated value of approximately $12.5 million in revenue, which will be used to fund programs to help people find jobs.
