GALLAGHER, CALLAHAN & GARTRELL of Concord was awarded first-tier rankings for 2014 in the annual publication of U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms.” The firm received first-tier rankings in six areas of law for the Concord area: administrative/regulatory law; land use and zoning law; litigation-construction; litigation-land use and zoning; mediation, personal injury and litigation for defendants; and real estate law.
CHILDREN’S DENTISTRY OF THE LAKES REGION and KENNELL ORTHODONTICS broke ground Oct. 25 at the site of their new office building, to be located at Boulder Point in Plymouth. Working with MISIASZEK TURPIN architect firm and BONNETTE, PAGE & STONE CORPORATION, both of Laconia, the new building will be completed by the spring.
CBH LANDSCAPE CONTRACTORS of Laconia received a Volunteer Champion award at the Spirit of New Hampshire Awards on Nov. 14. The company’s community service involvement includes Adopt-a-Spot and Welcome to Laconia landscape beautifications in public places, as well as seasonal grounds maintenance of the Laconia Public Library.
THE CAPITAL REGION FOOD PROGRAM distributed 4.7 tons of nonperishable food to 21 area food pantries, social service agencies and church groups in Greater Concord as part of its Year-Round Distribution Project.
MEREDITH VILLAGE SAVINGS BANK has awarded a $2,500 grant to Moultonboro/Sandwich Senior Meals. These funds are being used by the program to send participating seniors home with a healthy, home-cooked meal for supper.
STRASBURG LAW received the 2013 New Hampshire Excellence Award from the Small Business Institute for Excellence in Commerce. Strasburg Law recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary.
