Letter: Thanks, Allenstown!
On March 11, the voters of Allenstown overwhelmingly defeated a proposal to cut $1 million from the school budget. We, the staff members of the Allenstown School District, would like to thank you, the voters, for your support!
We are especially appreciative of the parents who went above and beyond to print signs and fliers that made residents aware of the devastating impact the budget cuts would have on the schools’ staffing and programs.
Thanks to all who displayed the signs, went door-to-door with fliers, attended parent forums, held signs at the polls and spread the information throughout the town. You have all made a huge difference in our ability to provide a quality education to the children of Allenstown. The students have always been our main focus and, clearly, they are your main focus, too. Thank you!
