Letter: Terrific production from Concord High

I could find nothing about it in the Monitor, but the sign outside Concord High School said it all: “Congrats to the CHS Drama Club 2014 State Alternate Theatre Fest Congrats to Eli Frydman NH Best Actor.”

Congrats indeed! The Concord High drama club participated in the New Hampshire Educational Theatre Guild’s 2014 festival which included 22 schools from New Hampshire offering up their most recent theatrical school productions. Concord placed third, with Frydman as Salieri winning “Best Actor.”

I was lucky enough to see the dress rehearsal the night before the first competition, which won them a place to compete last weekend at the state festival where they showed their star quality again. We are all very proud of everyone who spent long, hard hours of love in creating this production. The cast, ensemble, production staff and student crew are to be showered with congratulations, and our thanks for putting Concord High School on the map with this amazing offering of Amadeus.
