Letter: Double standard

Re “Did basketball coaches go overboard in Pembroke case?” (Monitor Forum, April 2):

Every letter written to this newspaper must be accompanied by the writer’s full name; however, the editors found reason otherwise here and let people express their opinion using an alias. The editors of this paper should be ashamed to let this happen; however, come across as shameless. And a word to those gutless stone-throwers from their own glass house: Put your name out there and stand up for your opinion, especially McFolsom.

LOL...I noticed the story was written by...well..someone. And the last sentence by the letter writer speaks volumes. In the new hyper partisan, sports fanatic world...its best to remain anonymous. Just like whoever wrote the story.
