Letter: Hungry neighbors need help

Did you know one in five children in your neighborhood are food insecure? Or at risk for hunger? Sad! It’s not just children; many seniors skip meals to pay bills and buy much-needed medications. Men and women who have lost their jobs, or one working for minimum wage, also need our help to survive. Every $1 can provide two meals for a hungry child. Local communities usually have a food pantry also.
