Letter: Desperate Republicans
Republican Scott Brown took up residency this past December and four months later announces he is running for Jeanne Shaheen’s U.S. Senate seat.
It’s one thing to have lived in New Hampshire for a number of years and then run for office, but to do so after only four months is an insult to the people of New Hampshire. If Brown loves New Hampshire so much why didn’t he move here years ago? Why did he devote his political career to Massachusetts instead of taking up residency in New Hampshire and running for office here?
Most people move to New Hampshire for the quality of life, the mountains, lakes, forests, oceans, no sales or income tax and good jobs. Brown “moved” here for one thing and one thing only: to run for office. Republicans are so desperate to win an election, they are willing to sell out the people of New Hampshire to a carpetbagger.
When Brown loses to Shaheen, I wonder where he will take up residency next?
