Letter: Ayotte accessible

Sen. Kelly Ayotte needs to be commended for how accessible she has been to her constituents. She’s held more than 25 town hall meetings since taking office in January 2011. I’ve met her on several occasions at events, and read about how frequently she attends others throughout the state.

She takes the time to listen, and she regularly updates her constituents about what is happening in Congress. I have also read that she is highly respected by her Senate colleagues for her intelligence and understanding of the process of doing the people’s business.

Having watched her for three years now, I know she is emerging as a real leader who looks after the best interests of New Hampshire and our country.
