Letter: The march of crime

On May 1, I went out to start my car for work. I found the contents of my glove box on the seat.

When I was growing up, people did not have to lock their doors or cars.

I find it sad that someone has the need to get into my car in the middle of the night to find something to steal. We all work hard for the things we have and would like to keep them.

It is a good thing we have the Bearcat on order........next we will need a drone or two. The police can't even prevent petty crime, once they get the Bearcat though......watch out!!!!

Seriously, Theresa...did you file a report with the CPD? If not, I urge you to do so, because there are some "usual suspects" who break into vehicles in this city. Do it even if you lost nothing of value. It may help deter a future break in, and/or save someone else from same fate.

how did the Concord Police respond?
