My Turn: It’s time to get to the bottom of Benghazi

More than 18 months after the terrible tragedy at Benghazi that killed four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Congress is finally going to investigate what really happened that horrific night. The investigation has been brought on because of the Obama administration’s unwillingness to be forthright with the American people.

Congressman Trey Gowdy will be leading the inquiry, and during a recent press conference he listed a litany of questions that he believes, rightly, have gone unanswered by the Obama administration.

Based on the information that we now know, steps could have been taken to prevent this terrible tragedy. But why weren’t these steps taken? Americans deserve a full detailing of what happened those fateful days and an explanation as to why certain decisions were made and why requests for additional security and support were either ignored or denied.

Members of Congress and the public are dissatisfied with the administration’s response to this point. And it seems the more information that gets out, the more questions are raised. Recent evidence suggests that the White House spin machine was working overtime to help tamp down public criticism and distract Americans in the immediate aftermath of the attack on our consulate.

We know that the White House and other Obama administration spokespersons purposefully misled the American public. They claimed that the violence was in reaction to a video and not an orchestrated event. We know that White House personnel were complicit in creating made-for-TV talking points for administration officials and supporters that ignored the facts and glossed over the seriousness of the attack. Even today, administration officials are attempting to shrug off the Benghazi tragedy as “old news.”

It’s confounding that it has taken so long to get answers from the White House and State Department. President Obama promised the American people that he would run the most transparent administration in history. But all evidence points to this being one of the most opaque. It’s also disturbing and sad that members of Congress, including Rep. Ann Kuster, have been complicit in the Benghazi cover-up in one way or another. At a minimum, lawmakers like Kuster have been unwilling to exercise their oversight authority and their standing in the president’s party to get answers.

More troubling, though, is Kuster’s unwillingness to discuss this tragedy at an open forum with her constituents here in New Hampshire. Initially, when asked about it, Kuster appeared to be unclear as to why a constituent would inquire about Benghazi and unsure of its geographic location. And while everyone can forgive temporary lapses in world geography, it is what happened next that was most disturbing.

Not only did she refuse to answer any questions on Benghazi, she abruptly left the podium and ended the forum. Kuster has even refused to take questions from the audience and banned recording devices.

New Hampshire voters are proud of their place in electoral calendar. We’re a proving ground for candidates.

When candidates come here, Granite Staters expect them to answer tough questions. And eventually the discerning voters of the state cast their ballots for the candidate they think is best – a fateful decision that has reverberations across the country.

Candidates and those who represent us in Concord and Washington, D.C., should be open and honest and answer their constituents’ questions. That Kuster flouts this tradition is an insult to the people who put her in office. Ignoring questions from constituents, not allowing the press to cover events and following lockstep with the Obama administration may be the Democrat way, it may be the Ann Kuster way, but it is not the New Hampshire way.

Although we will not be able to bring back Ambassador Stevens and the other Americans who were killed in Benghazi, I hope that the investigation brings closure to this tragic chapter for the families of those four heroes – and brings some measure of comfort to them and all Americans who share the pain of this loss.

I also hope the investigation allows the United States to bring to justice those individuals responsible for the deaths of our fellow Americans. We must protect and defend the safety and honor of Americans who serve our country in foreign lands and in hostile parts of the world.

As an American, I’m sorry it has taken this long. As a New Hampshirite, I’m sorry that Rep. Kuster has been part of the problem.

Hard to believe all of this came out of Benghazi's bottom.

Republican inquisitors on the election-eve panel investigating the Benghazi attack will be looking for the simple answer that confirms their preconceived narrative of the events. But reality is always more complicated, in this case containing elements of both the administration's and the opposition's accounts. The NYTimes investigation found that the video did play a role in the attack, while there were also advance warnings that extremist groups in Benghazi posed an increasing threat to the U.S. outpost there. From the Times' investigation: "Benghazi was not infiltrated by Al Qaeda, but nonetheless contained grave local threats to American interests. The attack does not appear to have been meticulously planned, but neither was it spontaneous or without warning signs. ...the leader of Benghazi’s most overtly anti-Western militia, Ansar al-Shariah, boasted a few months before the attack that his fighters could 'flatten' the American Mission. Surveillance of the American compound appears to have been underway at least 12 hours before the assault started. The violence, though, also had spontaneous elements. Anger at the video motivated the initial attack. Dozens of people joined in, some of them provoked by the video and others responding to fast-spreading false rumors that guards inside the American compound had shot Libyan protesters. Looters and arsonists, without any sign of a plan, were the ones who ravaged the compound after the initial attack, according to more than a dozen Libyan witnesses as well as many American officials who have viewed the footage from security cameras."

Relying on a debunked NYTimes article for truth is akin to Charlie Brown trusting Lucy to not yank away the football again.

Now Now BPR, you know that the NY Times and Pickering are not biased.Just ask Bruce

Feel free to dispute the facts, but don't forget to cite your sources. Until then, maybe learn the difference between real journalism, and the sites you seem to prefer.

Debunked by whom? You have ZERO credibility on this site. State the facts in support of your claims, or trundle off to one of your far-right echo chambers.

CNN..among the looters..4 days later..

Progressives here tell us about their inclusion and their tolerance and they tell us about how Republicans are misogynists and waging a war on women and racists but see some of the comments on this string by posters who fail to practice what they preach: "Ms Garcia has chosen to attach herself to the three amigos".....I call that racist, gracchus. "hot conservative"....I call that misogynist gracchus. "Ms. Garcia, obviously, is a hand-picked spokeswoman by the National Republican Party, because of her latino name"....I call that racist Walter. "I doubt she authored it alone"....I call that war on women Walter.

I believe they will start out slowly with MS Garcia, but if she gets popular and is deemed a threat, she will be treated like Palin, Bachman and Condi Rice. It is pretty much expected and always happens, that the left believe that the only women who deserve to be respected are women who happen to be Dems. If they happen to be conservative, religious or a minority that is not a Dem they are fair game to be abused. Now Hillary will be protected. They will state that she should get special treatment in regards to the questions she answers, and will not be expected to produce her health records or pretty much any info. She released that book paragraph ahead so the media will protect her, and she also insisted that the Dems get on this special committee so they can give her soft questions. She needs protection because she is a Democratic Woman. I believe that is called hypocrisy. The Clintons play the game better than anybody.

You can call it what you like, but given your past treatment of Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren, you have little room for complaint. In the Garcia piece, there isn't an ounce of original thought--it's GOP/right wing talking points with NO effort to find any middle ground. But as the NY Times investigation discovered, the truth flatters neither side.

Garecia is a latino. Elizabeth Warren has no proof that she could claim under EEOC to be a native American. In fact in published journals, she changed that status. Hillary is either a weak woman who stands by her man no matter how sleazy he is or she is an opportunist. Period.

CM at it again - CENSORSHIP of opposing viewpoints is the downfall of Journalism and America - SHAME ON THE CM

Censorship? Could you remind us again how times so far this year you've posted on this site? It's well into four figures, is it not?

Wow it looks like the Monitor has their desired liberal chorus all singing the same tune through censorship. I don't miss this at all.

Glad to see you back, tired of picking on BPR. Let the fun times begin.

debating a liberal progressive socialist democrat that lives in the woods is like playing chess with a pigeon - He struts all over the board knocking over pieces - then flys away declaring himself the winner

When was the last time you engaged in "debate"? You issue your "headlines" as if they're papal bulls issued from on high. Then when posts appear that provide the facts disproving your frequently hyperventilating claims, you've moved on to your next distorted drive-by posting. Since we're into analogies--you're like the circus elephant in a parade leaving his droppings behind for others to clean up afterward.

How about we get to the bottom of the Iraq War first? 4000+ Americans killed. Cost = a trillion dollars. When is Cheney going to be called to testify? You are off-base Marilinda. Find something else to talk about - like how you want to create jobs, or fix the VA system.

LOL..we already have someone "talking" about creating jobs and fixing the VA....Hows Obama doing btw???

I think that we did get to the bottom of the Iraq War. They worked with the intelligence we had. When is Cheney going to be called to testify on what? Those are deflections. We need to know what Obama knew and when he knew it, how he reacted to it and why he went right out on the road afterwards to continue campaigning. We also need to know why he used the video excuse when he knew it was terrorism. Now to the jobs question, we could have jobs and a lower unemployment rate. The EPA is on the verge of putting coal fired electric plants out of commission by fiat, Obama has passed regulations that are hamstringing all businesses starting with small businesses. The VA system is broken because it has been run by the government and is a warning about how Obamacare will be run. 25% of the federal workers provide the care and 75% administer it. Typical government. Marilinda is way on base, not way off base. The public and Congress want to know what Obama knew and when he knew it. Forget about Iraq, even if it was pertinent to this discussion, two wrongs don't make a right. Period.

BS. There are no federal workers providing health care under "Obamacare." Once again you are conflating the ACA with "government run health care." They are not the same thing. The ACA uses PRIVATE health insurance and PRIVATE health care providers. It's a Republican model, based on the free market. So just stop.

Obamacare was designed by the same government that can't figure out after decades how to run the VA, how to break even at the Post Office and how to manage welfare. Not only that it is being enforced by the IRS. It is NOT the Republican model aned please stop trying to spin this as if it is something wonderful. It is a stepping stone to single payer which would be run by the government and would turn into the VA, S

I personally have come o the conclusion that the left do not care if their programs actually do what they are intended to do. I also believe, they have no clue how to run anything, just like the idea of coming up with ideas that basically paint a rosy picture of actually fixing anything. They have also applied that thinking to education. For every program we have that is suppose to work, how many actually do? have the poverty programs lifted folks out of poverty, or have they in fact created generational poverty? If you loosen up requirements for any kind of benefit, that benefit program usually grows. The left has an issue with understanding human nature. People often times do not look for a solution to their problem, unless staying in that problem is uncomfortable. That is where the will to change kicks in. If you have generations of folks getting on programs, that right there speaks to the fact that they do not feel the need to get out of them. Clinton's welfare reform worked, look at the numbers. President Obama has pretty much decided that all benefit programs should be easy to get, have no regulations, and pretty much be lifetime benefits as opposed to temporary help. Government is incompetent. Grow it even larger and it will become even more incompetent and filled with fraud and waste. That my friends is where our tax money goes.

Getting to the "bottom" of Benghazi? Or simply re-visiting at election time the same ground that the previous dozen or so investigations covered? In either case, words matter in any investigation. Are the two words "extremist" and "terrorist" synonymous? The first pertains to belief, the second refers to committing acts of terror. Ostensibly reading a State Dept, email verbatim during a 2013 hearing on Benghazi, Trey Gowdy, charged with leading the new House investigation, substituted the word "terrorist" for "extremist" in his reading of the email, which might call into question his interest in leading a fair investigation.Or is this a distinction without a difference, as Gowdy and others claimed?

Words matter period, Bruce. Words like: "extremist" when used to describe Republicans or people who believe in limited government. Words like: "Carp per diem brigade, right wing nuts, tea party extremists, bigots, misogynists, racists, etc." Yes, Bruce, words used in describe equal citizens by a citizen reveals the demeanor and character of that person using them. Yes, words do matter, Bruce.

god one but egos like his don't deflate they just remain crazy

Yes, words do matter, but do you really want to go there? I know of no other words that can be used to accurately describe one who: subscribes to "birtherism"; believes that Agenda 21 and the U.N. pose a threat to U.S. sovereignty; blindly accepts as true any and all outrageous claims about Obama that appear, as you did on another thread here; believes that global warming is a hoax designed to promote a socialist takeover of the world, and routinely posts lies he thinks "prove" same; uses the Constitution as a cudgel to claim that there is only ONE correct reading of the document; and routinely impugns the patriotism of those with whom he disagrees. If I've distorted your views in any way, please enlighten. Otherwise, while I could go on, I think holding such views is enough to show that you are far from the mainstream in this country; your oft-stated opinions are in keeping with those we associate with the far right, such as the John Birch Society, as much as you try to hide that fact.

socialist takeover of the world...its too late....they already did...we are the last hope..and its not going well.

GW, GW, GW, how hard do you work to get your opinion almost perfectly 180˚ from reality? If the socialists have taken over, what accounts for the worldwide increase in inequality of both income and wealth? Let me suggest this (it's perfectly consistent with your pretzel logic): Socialists want everybody to be equal, but they are so incompetent that everything they try turns out exactly opposite to the desired effect. Is that Bizarro-World enough for ya?

"If the socialists have taken over, what accounts for the worldwide increase in inequality of both income and wealth?"...socialism...too easy.

just a hot conservative name...I doubt she authored it alone...Ms. Garcia's dance...war on women anyone????

And she's a harpist too. If elected, she'll be a professional harpist. Any bets on what she'll be harping on?

Imagine a spokesperson being given talking points. Isn't that how their job works, they are given what to say. I am shocked, yes shocked I say. We given the police spokesperson longer over releasing the details of a traffic fatality, go figure. Marlinda - Benghazi is finally being investigated for the 14th time, but this time it's only handpicked GOP, the first 13 investigations don't count? You've lost my respect, guess you are just a hot conservative after all.

Well, I hope that you never accuse anyone every again about being a misogynist. "just a hot conservative". I guess that exposes you.

Oh what a hypocrite this Garcia is! Especially when she wrote that: "Candidates and those who represent us* in Concord and Washington, D.C., should be open and honest and answer their constituents’ * questions." to which I add of not only those who voted for* you but that you/ Garcia were pre-paid this $200 from us to show up and vote! You were in that House Finance Division III meeting on my HJR123 this winter, but who chose NOT to vote as federal related to your either: the prior, that, or next-day official announcement of your running for Congress in the 2nd district. The record lies by calling you "absent" for your RSA Ch. 643:1 "refrain" of you used the word "recuse", right? Remember that? So WHEN are you going to have that Clerk record the truth? What day do you plan to file? You KNOW by my e-mail to you several months ago now back in February that the RSA statute Chapter 662:1 is un-constitutional because we are one of eleven states who do not elect our state "Judicial officers" and so the representation in Congress SHALL be reduced by governor Hassan to DO her Article 51 duty to execute BOTH the laws of the state AND United States. Where were you to be the check-and-balance on this in your current position, of now wanting a $raise in pay for wrong and no-doing!? You have got to be kidding me! JSH, Independent Voter.

Joe, is there any topic that is safe from you making it all about you?

Ms. Garcia, obviously, is a hand-picked spokeswoman by the National Republican Party, because of her latino name. The objective of the piece (and, I doubt she authored it alone) is to smear Kuster. Of course, by association, with a smear aimed at Hillary Clinton. Hillary has smeared back, in her recent book. And, I doubt seriously, if Ms Garcia even knows what Kuster has accomplished during here time in DC !!

"I doubt that she authored it alone". Well Walter here is her education from her website: "Ms. Garcia earned her B.A., cum laude, from Tufts University in 2006 and concurrently completed a B.M. with Academic Honors and Distinction in Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music. In 2010 she graduated from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government where she received a Master of Public Policy and was the recipient of a full tuition Public Service Fellowship". I think that as a strong woman and someone who is that accomplished educationally, she probably did author this piece. Please note that she is 1/2 latino and 1/2 Italian. Do you have issues with Italians as well, perhaps you are suggesting that she was hand picked to get the Italian vote. Kuster, on the other hand has just accomplished the role of rubber stamp.

How about investigating why the Republicans in Congress blocked funds requested to beef up embassy security (before Benghazi).??

Incorrect. Republicans voted to reduce total foreign service expenditures, not to beef up embassy security, let's take that Democrat talking point off of the table. In an emergency, the President or Secretary of State could make the decision to add security. What are you so afraid of that this investigation might reveal?

any fact check of the state dept budget will show the reader an annual increase in the budget for security and improvements - But hey - you could believe the Veritas stuff

Ms Garcia says it is time to get to the bottom of Benghazi and I agree with her that Republicans stink at investigations. How many times have they been at it? Thirteen times? Boy if the Dems were this bad at investigating, Republicans would have been calling on them to be fired.

Lets shootings, VA, Reagan, maiden voyage, Monty Python...Just how many fingers do you have pointing in another direction Democrats? Its actually funny..

And the last Republican led investigation into school shootings was??? I picture McConnell, Issa, Boehner, et al singing a modified version of Monty Python's 'Spam'. Benghazi Benghazi Benghazi...

When was a local school shooting a federal level issue? Please read the 10th amendment.

I would say that school shootings trump 4 deaths in Libya everyday of the week. There it's no big surprise unless you are a conservative with a vendetta. Thousands die every weekly. Does that sound callous, you bet.

time for you to go read the constitution - obviously for your 1st time.

The story and discussion at hand is Benghazi, not school shootings. Why is it that you don't want an investigation? It seems to me that you would welcome it as it would make Republicans look like they were playing politics. Or is it that you are afraid of what the outcome might be??

There have been 13 different investigations, your crew just didn't like the verdict. Perhaps with a handpicked group of zealots there is a better chance of getting the predetermined results. A blue ribbon GOP investigation as this will be is usually referred to as a witch hunt not an investigation.

13 investigations? - dare you to name them

Here you go: Benghazi has produced 13 public hearings, the release of 25,000 pages of documents and 50 separate briefings. The select committee won't be the only inquiry, as other GOP-led congressional panels continue their probes, including a House Oversight investigation which just last week took the extraordinary step of subpoenaing a Cabinet member.

Ms. Garcia, I think you're a breath of fresh air for the NH GOP. Good luck to you and I'm sorry that you will have to be the brunt of racist attacks from the "respectful of diversity" crowd.

Dan, are you serious? I thought she might be a breath of fresh of fresh as well, this editorial proved me wrong. Don't know what you are talking about, who made a racist remark here? I must have missed it.

Well, the tea party has been around since 2008, so her air isn't that fresh it just is in a prettier package.

I'm hoping Glenn Currie comments on this piece. Until then, I offer this: 1. 17 Americans (and 46 others) killed in American embassy bombing in Beirut in April, 1983. Reagan in charge.Where were the Republicans then? 2. 241 servicemen (mostly marines) and 58 French servicemen killed in US Marine Barracks bombing in Beirut in October, 1983. Reagan was in charge. Where there Republicans then? 3. And under George W. Bush: January 22, 2002: US consulate at Kolkata, 5 Killed June 14, 2002: US Consulate at Karachi, 12 Killed February 28, 2003: US Embassy at Islamabad, 2 Killed June 30, 2004: US Embassy at Tashkent, 2 Killed December 6, 2004: US Compound at Saudi Arabia, 9 Killed March 2, 2006: US Consulate in Karachi, 2 Killed September 12, 2006: US Embassy at Syria, 4 Killed March 18, 2008 US Embassy at Yemen, 2 Killed July 9, 2008: US Consulate at Istanbul, 6 Killed September 17, 2008 US Embassy at Yemen, 16 Killed TOTAL DEATHS: 60 OUTRAGED REPUBLICANS: 0

total deaths blamed on a number of video producers put in jail..0 number of democrats who want to know what really happened in Benghazi...0

whoops, producer is in jail on other charges.

spouting Non-Americans Killed in foreign countries by bicycle bombers and the like is as disingenuous as one can be. Our Ambassador was murdered on the 9-11 anniversary over a Hillary Gun running deal gone wrong and HILLARY and NObama LIED LIED LIED. Obamanistas......sheeeeeesh

Stop if you've heard about this one before. If not read on for the "disingenuous[ness], since, according to Sail/BPR: "spouting Non-Americans killed in foreign countries by bicycle bombers and the like is as disingenuous as one can be"? Here are the disingenuous details of ONE of the 13 attacks on our diplomatic service during the Bush 2 years. In March of 2006, 4 people, including U.S. diplomat David Foy, were killed in a suicide car bomb attack. "The blast occurred at 9:05 a.m. local time near the United States consulate and a Marriott Hotel in an upscale area of Karachi, the country's largest city and a commercial hub. Forty-five people were injured in the attack, government officials said. Pakistani officials said a vehicle was intercepted by Rangers as it tried to ram into the diplomat's vehicle near the consulate. The massive explosion rocked the neighborhood; the attacker's vehicle was completely destroyed, and the vehicle of the diplomat was thrown into the air and then tumbled over."

did the president and Sec of State lie about it......... like Hillary and NObama LIED LIED LIED about their gun smuggling gone wrong that killed an ambassador on the 9-11 anniversary by Al-Qaida - only a liberal can make any comparison between the 2

Extraordinary claims like yours require extraordinary evidence. Feel free to post factual material that supports your claims. Your claim that Al Qaeda was responsible for the attack on Benghazi is false.

Hennikercitizen is absolutely correct. Ms. Garcia promises to be just another voice in the chorus of Republican noise (due to lack of substantive issues), and deflection from repairs necessitated by the Bush/Cheney destruction of our economy .

Garcia understands that a strong America deters others in the world from running ram-shot over their citizens. She understands that we need to be energy independent. She understands that we need lower taxes to spur the economy and get companies hiring again. She understands that government is not the solution, it is the problem. Look at the IRS and the VA and the Attorney General and the INS and a host of other top heavy bureaucratic agencies. Obama has done nothing in 72 months to help the economy and in fact, his policies are harming the economy.

Four Americans were killed, including our ambassador to Libya. The Obama Administration formulated talking points, including those given to Susan Rice. She went on the Sunday morning talk shows and blamed the uprising on an obscure anti-muslim video. Annie Kuster, the CM's fair-haired candidate, is nothing more than another professional politician looking for another two years in Washington. Since being sent to Washington, she has been nothing more than a reliable vote for Nancy Pelosi and the Obama Administration.

I recently had face time with Kuster and all she did was to spout the party line. After in the hall she was about only 10% more real when we talked about her home town. She is a professional politician through and through - not an ounce of "real" NH in her, Garcia is "real" and will serve NH well.

What a nonsense post, Fearless. Before running for Congress, Annie - with whose votes I have some serious disagreements - had not to my knowledge held public office. So according to right wing talking points, running for a second 2-year term qualifies one as a "professional politician." And who, pray tell, will call the tune for Ms. Garcia's dance?

Is this Ms. Garcia's maiden voyage aboard the CM editorial page? If so it augurs very poorly indeed. Annie Kuster, since her first day campaigning, has addressed issues that directly affect New Hampshire voters. Ms. Garcia has chosen to attach herself to the three amigos and be just another talking head jibber jabbering about this ginned-up bnogus scandal.

Not really Gracchus. In fact she is a real extremist, just read what she stands for from her website, OH GOD.......what an extremist, run for the hills!!!!!! "Marilinda Garcia, State Representative and candidate for Congress in New Hampshire's Second Congressional District, is a new generation conservative committed to reducing the size, scope and cost of the federal government by putting power and decision-making into the hands of New Hampshire and her citizens. She is committed to reform and American economic renewal through an agenda that includes ending deficit spending, reining in job-killing regulation, lowering and flattening tax rates, and replacing Obamacare with bottom-up, consumer-driven solutions" Such an extremist, what if she wins? The sky will fall....people will starve....people will suffer......OH MY GOD!!!!

Please , for the hundredth time - what is a job killing regulation, name one so I can comment. The GOP had 30 years for some sort of healthcare reform, and Nothing. We get Obamacare and suddenly they have a plan. I'm sorry but "Idontcare" is not much of one. Bring it on. Lets have some substance to your talking points.

The Small Business Administration (SBA) says that complying with federal regulations alone costs $1.7 trillion annually. dont think that costs jobs???

By your sound logic, the best of all possible worlds would be one in which there were not regulation--that would create jobs .I Fair and proper regulation spurs innovation. A good example of this is Obama's new regulations on CO2. These new regs will spur innovation in all kinds of ways in energy usage and conservation, as the market adapts to a changing landscape, one that treats carbon for what it is now recognized as being: a pollutant.

Anything that protects the environment, human health, or takes guns off the street.

Redbird what do you have against guns? And "anything" is a pretty broad choice of words don't you think?

How about we fix the VA instead? If you want a political cudgel to hit Washington with, dump the Fox news hysteria, and go after something that counts. Help our Vets! They deserve nothing less than great healthcare and benefits. They actually fought for our freedom. Maybe Republicans and Democrats in Congress could actually work together to fix the VA mess?

READERS - ask yourself this....... why did democrats defeat a bill to allow the VA wide powers to fire employees

It seems like the government is so perfect that they can manage our health care that they can also multi task and do two things at one time. So let's not get off the topic of Benghazi and let's also discuss the VA. The VA is a snapshot of what Obamacare will become by the way.

The VA and Obamacare don't share any similarities what so ever. Obamacare is a program to attempt to make healthcare more available. It's about Insurance not running a network of hospitals that are dependent on CONGRESS for funding, not the President but Congress. At least try to have a clue about what you are saying for once.

Now that he VA scandal has a whipping boy and has resigned, issue resolved and over. Time for the next crisis, lets move on. The VA has been a problem since Kennedy if not before. The right hates Obama seemingly over Obamacare. Which is has stolen the thunder from the GOP healthcare plan "Wedontcare", it made them look bad...............The one thing I want to know that the GOP is sidestepping - what happened to the rest of the consular staff, there were only 4??? Not hardly.
