Letter: End justifies the means
Should I forgive Sen. Ted Cruz for only being a teenager when President Reagan (no doubt his No. 1 guy) was involved in what has been known as the Iran-Contra affair?
Perhaps his history lessons left that out of the text books he was reading. Oh, I forgot, he’s from Texas. They leave lots out of (or rewrite) textbooks there.
The recent prisoner exchange brought forth indignation from our friends in the GOP. Wow, I didn’t see that coming.
Let me understand this latest faux pas by our president.
He allowed Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl to be freed for five Taliban prisoners and had the audacity to bypass Congress for this soldier’s freedom.
I have a question for Cruz: How about if this was your son?
I’m more surprised by Sen. John McCain and his statements, since he was a POW for many years and suffered greatly. Once again, President Obama can do no right by the right. One of my favorite personal sayings is: “All’s well that ends well.”
I’m sure the Bergdahl family would agree.
