Letter: Feltes open to new ideas
I first met Dan Feltes about eight years ago when he went to work for New Hampshire Legal Assistance.
There, he represented low- and moderate-income citizens of New Hampshire, the disabled community and those for whom English is their second language.
Where we overlapped was on energy and telecommunications issues, as I was the state assistant consumer advocate at that time.
Dan always took positions supporting affordability and accessibility for his clients in the near term as well as the long term. An example was making energy efficiency affordable for all.
I found Dan to always be extremely well prepared, knowledgeable, open to new ideas and concepts, and willing to seek balanced approaches in order to get positive results, whether at the Public Utilities Commission or the State House Those same attributes will make him an excellent state Senator who could work across the aisle as need be.
