Letter: Ardinger is superb candidate
What qualities do you look for in candidates seeking public office? I favor these: electability, leadership, integrity, commitment and experience.
In the September primary, Concord Democrats have the candidate who fits this profile: Kass Ardinger. She has had resounding victories in three city-wide elections to the school board. She has been president for five of the eight years that she has volunteered on that board, where she has committed hundreds of hours to her responsibilities.
Her greatest strength is her integrity. She favors no group or person over another. The building of three elementary schools in Concord under her leadership shows her commitment and integrity. The project was done on time and under budget. The total impact on Concord taxpayers has been and will be negligible.
Her skill in pulling together contractors, federal agencies, state building aid programs and tight local budgets made all this happen.
She asks the question: What is the job to be done? She answers the question: What is the solution that will benefit the most people at the best price? The new schools benefit students, staff, parents, taxpayers and the entire community. Voters in Senate District 15 – those in Concord, Hopkinton, Warner and Henniker – have a superb candidate in Kass Ardinger.
