Letter: Feltes strong on health care
In September, I will be casting my vote in the primary for Dan Feltes to represent Concord, Henniker, Hopkinton and Warner in New Hampshire’s Senate.
I have gotten to know Dan through his extraordinary service as a legal aid lawyer and advocate for working families. He is a thoughtful and effective problem-solver who will be a strong progressive voice in the Senate.
I support Dan in part because of his stance on health care and coverage. He knows that access to affordable health care has a beneficial impact on the lives, economic security, productivity, and success of individuals and families, and is part of giving all of us a fair shake in the world.
Dan will work with Gov. Maggie Hassan to ensure the successful implementation of Medicaid expansion in New Hampshire, while also making sure that our state’s emerging insurance marketplace includes health care providers that serve residents of the capital region.
As the Legislature continues to look at ways to help ensure that health care is more affordable for everyone, there is no one I would rather have representing us – all of us – than Dan Feltes.
I urge you to find out more about this outstanding candidate. Dan Feltes has earned my vote. I am confident that, given the chance, he will earn yours as well.
